Security-Based Training
This is where rubber hits the road - getting the team out together to learn the specifics of the organization's policies and/or to practice real-life scenarios so volunteers can see how they react under pressure and learn how to be better prepared for a real emergency.
Policy-Based Training
This training option is a great next step after adopting a Use-of-Force or Comprehensive Security Policy. Flock Tactical will provide classroom instruction to explain the policy and answers questions. Additionally, team members will be subjected to hypothetical scenarios in order to test their understanding.
*Typically, this training lasts around two hours for a Use-of-Force Policy or around three hours for a Comprehensive Security Policy and can be in-person or remote.*
Foundations of Security
Designed as an introductory crash course for church security teams, this classroom-based training exposes your team to foundational security topics such as mindset and decision-making skills, security posture and techniques, introduction to firearms and non-lethal fighting skills, medical, communications, and more.
*This training lasts around one to two hours and can be in-person or remote*
Contextual Marksmanship
More than just a trip to the range, Flock Tactical's firearm training focuses on the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship as applied in the security context. We test each security team member's existing proficiency level before developing the skills necessary to master the use of a pistol from concealment. Each student will learn how to improve his or her proficiency autonomously while emphasizing a high level of performance.
Most importantly, this training provides security team members with valuable perspective about the importance of maintaining a disciplined approach to firearm use, especially in a public space.
*Firearm training lasts around two to three hours and is currently only available at our standard rate for ranges in the vicinity of Charlotte.*
Scenario-Based Training
Scenario-Based Training is an excellent way to validate the security team's understanding of its security policy and train its application of the same. Our tailored scenarios focus on developing the skills required to execute your security policy and provide a unique opportunity to identify potential leaders along with weak areas in your training program.
*Scenario-Based Training lasts around one to two hours and is currently only available at our standard rate for locations in the vicinity of Charlotte.*
Third Party Training
In addition to training your organization's security team, Flock Tactical offers training options for your staff and other ministries, such as parking, ushers, child care, etc. in order to increas the number of individuals who can assist in an emergency.
Additionally, opportunities exist to train with local law enforcement, EMS, and other instructors. Flock Tactical can help coordinate training with these organizations and instructors to bring your security team's proficiency to the next level.
